The Male Facelift Procedure
A facelift is a comprehensive surgical procedure designed to reverse significant signs of aging. While it doesn’t halt the aging process, it can ‘set the clock back’ by 10-20 years in many cases. Incision placement is carefully hidden between the hair and beard line. More often than not, it is performed alongside a neck-lift that aims to contour the neck and jawline simultaneously (see neck-lift section).
Male Facelift Results and Recovery
When performed correctly a facelift will not result in a ‘windswept’ or ‘operated-on’ appearance that is frequently seen in movie stars and celebrities after poorly executed surgeries– instead, men who have a facelift under the guidance of a reputable and experienced provider noticed a stubble but much more chiseled look.
Recovery involves initial swelling and bruising mostly within the first week. Full recovery varies, but most men can usually return to regular activities after 10 to 14 days. Some results may be immediately noticeable, but they will continue to improve as swelling subsides over several weeks.
